Bird Stroll led by Alex

#3 Repair Café

Thursday 9/25 from 4-6.  Fadime has the RSVP info.  We have 3-4 repairers and 12 people signed up to bring things that need repairs.  Fadime will reach out to the folks bringing things to try to get a sense of what they're brining and how long it might take to fix, and then she and Liz will meet at AVAST on Thursday to set up.

#4 Lunch and Learn Oct 9

Zack Hallock from CES, our energy consultants, will be here on campus on Thursday, Oct 9 for an energy-related lunch and learn.  Liz will work with Zack to clarify the topic and start getting the word out soon.  Will likely be a hybrid event.  Watson 201 has been reserved from 12:30-2pm.

#5 Garden update

Village garden is doing well.  Slowing down for the fall, but it was a successful summer.

#6 Invasive plant -

Seb is working with Mary Lardie to schedule another Rose Garden cleanup with the Mental Health ERG.  Potentially the week of Oct 13, but Mary will get back once she has talked with the group.

#7 Alternative Commuting

Seb mentioned at the ERG meeting last week that he’s interested in co-organizing an event centered on alternate commuting options (bus, carpool, bike) maybe at the end of October.  He’s hoping it could be sponsored by multiple ERGs to help get the word out and spread the work.  Folks can reach out to Seb if they have interest in helping.

#8 New business

There's another clothing swap in Clark on October 14 from 4:30-6:30.

There was a report that the green bike storage container is too full of bikes that never move.  Bryan and Liz will check it out to see if it needs to be dealt with before the regular annual process of cleaning it out.
