Want to green WHOI by composting at your next event? Click here for info about a local composting vendor. Black Earth Compost will collect the compostable waste at the end of your event. WHOI does have collection bins that you may be able to use depending on timing and volume, so you should work with both Black Earth and WHOI Meeting Services on this.

To ensure that the composting process goes smoothly at your event, it's best to have someone make an announcement describing the waste collection process at the beginning of the first meal so that all participants understand the system.
