Christina Hernandez won the Spring 2019 Green It Forward Award in recognition for her devotion to conserve the planet  by sharing reusable utensils at lunch with colleagues, making her own eco-friendly toiletries and cosmetics, encouraging “plastic-free” month challenges, and making vegetarian options available at events she co-organizes including SWMS Conferences.
