#1 Beach cleanups (first Thursday of the month at noon)
• June 4: Alex, Ann
• July 2: Fadime

#2 Lunch and Learn report and planning
• Bees talk was a success!
• To do: sort out honorarium disbursement. Might require a bit of paperwork from
Matt (e.g. does he need to be a vendor?) Seb will forward info from when we did
this for Kumara. Alex will follow up with Marney.
• Next event can be alternative septic system talk/tour. Talk could get good attendance,
then possibly follow up with a tour. Tentatively a talk first half of September? Liz will
reach out.
• Food event — could team up with the village gardeners for an end-of-season event.
Maybe some presentation on garden food? Followed by outdoor picnic.
• Reducing light pollution event. Maybe next spring for bird migration?

#3 Event planning
• Bike repair cafe in summer? Fadime will coordinate with Falmouth bike lab, who might
be able to provide volunteers
• For events: make sure to take pictures and send to Fadime!

#4 Landscape discussion
• Invasive removal progress and plans
• Seb and Alex have made some progress on removing Japanese knotweed. Also
cleared the downed trees by the rose garden.
• Low attendance at invasive pulling events. How to increase? Have a regular
schedule and emails.
• Do we want to try glyphosate in the fall?
• Try transplanting Kousa dogwood to meadow? Maybe in Sep to avoid drought.
• STF garden plot meeting tomorrow; plan a clean up day and what to plant

#5 Bird deterrent discussion
• Groups at Watson and Clark South have seen bird strikes recently and have been
interested in decal-based deterrents.

#6 New business
