Dr. Jean-Luc Doumont Returns!

On January 24, 2017, Dr Jean-luc Doumont of Principiae, a communications consulting firm that specializes in technical fields, will be delivering two lectures for the WHOI community.

–Making the most of your presentation, 10 am – 12 pm, Redfield Auditorium, WHOI 

-Persuading others, 1:30 – 3:30 pm, Redfield Auditorium, WHOI 

Dr. Doumont will describe how to design, construct, and present slides to clearly communicate a scientific message. At turns funny and insightful, the presentation address common challenges in communicating scientific information in a presentation. His second presentation on Persuading Others, will cover useful techniques and approaches to provide convincing arguments in a non-confrontational manner.
