CommuniTea Hope amidst Hurt: Anti-Racism and the Future of WHOI - Friday, June 12,2020: 2pm: Zoom

The recording of this event is available for those who would like to relisten or for those who missed! Click here.

In the midst of a global pandemic, and in the wake of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police officers and the ensuing national protests, we acknowledge the emotional toll that these events are placing on us here at WHOI, especially on our Black community members. The Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) and the Workplace Climate Committee (WCC) invite you to join us in a virtual CommuniTea, on June 12th at 2 PM, Hope amidst Hurt: Anti-Racism and the Future of WHOI. We will take the time to listen to the issues of racism facing our community; learn about ways to actively support real, meaningful change here at WHOI and in the region; and engage in a dialogue with others who would like to work for positive change.
