Research Associate III in Physical Oceanography

For the past several years, I have studied air-sea interaction to try to understand the exchange of heat and water between the ocean and atmosphere. I regularly go to sea for this job, which makes for a very stimulating experience as I meet people of various personal and professional backgrounds. I also get to travel, encounter different cultures and landscapes. My professional interests are air-sea interaction processes, oceanic eddies, and clouds. And personally, I enjoy music of many genres, especially folk, dance, photography, sailing, trees, history and cultural stories. But most of all I like nature and people and that is why I am a member of WHOI's Sustainability Task Force, and I also regularly volunteer to support our community. I'd be very happy to help out a new WHOI bud, so get in touch!
