Communications Officer/Research Assoc II, MCG

Welcome to WHOI! I joined WHOI and the OCB (Ocean Carbon & Biogeochemistry) Project Office late 2016 to do communications for this network of scientists. Originally from Boston, I lived in California for 12 years, grad school at CSUN, then most of the time in the San Francisco area where I worked for a NOAA marine sanctuary and two ocean non-profits. So I know the challenges of cross-country moves and settling in new places. I enjoy building my new veg garden, exploring nature with my puppy, reading, cooking and adventures with friends. I'm part of the Sustainability Task Force and Women's Committee. Feel free to contact me to talk cape living (and the challenges of renting and house buying here!) or any other shared interests.
