Heather Benway

Senior Research Specialist, Marine Chemistry & Geochemistry

I came to WHOI in 2005 as a postdoc in the Geology & Geophysics Dept. I joined the MC&G Dept. in 2007 to manage a national project office for the Ocean Carbon & Biogeochemistry (OCB) Program. I love good food, cooking, baking, gardening, hiking, birding, paddle boarding. and kayaking. I've been involved in a few different committees at WHOI, including the Postdoc Association, the Women's Committee, and the Technical Staff Committee. I'm also coordinating a mentoring program for WHOI technical staff.
