Marine Operations Coordinator, Marine Operations

I started at WHOI in 2016 as the Marine Ops Coordinator, primarily managing the scheduling our ships and vehicles. It's a great position because I get to work with scientists and engineers not only from WHOI but all over the country, along with the funding agencies and other operators/ institutions. There are so many smart, funny and creative people in this mix of people; working with them is the best part of my job. Along with the fact we're a dog friendly place and a bike ride from home/ beaches. My background is in commercial shipping, work that's taken me all over and a 9 year stint living in Scandinavia. I enjoy meeting folks with diverse backgrounds, different cultures and would be happy to help you integrate into this thriving community. 🙂
