Please join us at the Aquarium, and learn more about the research taking place at Fisheries

We will hear from two research groups at the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) lab in Woods Hole. Dvora Hart, of the Population Dynamics group, will speak about sea scallop fishery management and sea floor surveys using the Habitat Mapping Camera (HabCam). We will also hear from the Ecosystem Assessment group about climate change research related to fisheries. Opportunities and materials for teachers and students will be available.

The presentation is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. PDP credits are available for teachers.

Directions:
 Follow Woods Hole Road into Woods Hole village, where the road becomes Water Street.
Travel over the drawbridge and to the end of Water Street. The NOAA Laboratory complex is at the sharp right turn in the road.
The Aquarium is on the left just after the turn.
Parking is available at metered lots on the street, in the Fisheries parking lots, and in the MBL Bar Neck and MBL Swope lots. If parking in an MBL lot, please put a note on your dashboard "WHSTEP 1/24/13".
