Science and Technology Down on the Farm<\/strong><\/p>\n Thursday, November 21, 2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3:30 \u2013 5:00pm<\/strong><\/p>\n At Coonamessett Farm in Hatchville, East Falmouth<\/strong><\/p>\n Teachers are invited to join us<\/strong>\u00a0for our fall Science Safari to Coonamessett Farm where we will have a behind the scenes guided tour with a special focus on how\u00a0science, technology, and math<\/strong>\u00a0are used in farm and research operations.\u00a0 Participants will receive a packet of teaching materials and background information, and PDPs are available. WHSTEP Science Safaris are always free of charge!<\/p>\n Coonamessett Farm<\/strong>\u00a0is a twenty-acre farming and research enterprise dedicated to the responsible stewardship and maintenance of the biodiversity of our planet.\u00a0 Its purpose is the development and transfer of appropriate technology in support of farming and fishing communities that are environmentally sound and compatible with\u00a0a sustainable future.
