Bikes are available to WHOI Guests between April 15 and November 1, first come first serve.\u00a0 $40 deposit with $20 return (helmet + lock included). Contact Susan Mills <a href=\"mailto:smills@whoi.edu\">smills@whoi.edu<\/a> to request or return a bicycle.<\/p>\n\t<h2>WHOI&#8217;s Bike Loaner Program Guidelines and Policies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bicycles are available to WHOI visitors between April 15 and November 1<\/li>\n<li>Bicycles should be stored in designated bicycle racks situated around the Institution and Institution housing.\u00a0 During rain and snow, bicycles should be stored under cover.<\/li>\n<li>For bike repair, contact Corner Cycle or Falmouth Bike Lab. (WHOI is not responsible for flat tires and broken chains etc.)<br \/>\n\u00bb\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.falmouthbikelab.org\/open-shop.html\">Falmouth Bike Lab<\/a><br \/>\n\u00bb\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cornercycle.com\/about\/bike-service-and-repair-pg64.htm\">Corner Cycle<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The maximum length of a bicycle loan is 3 months.\u00a0 An extension may be granted provided there is not a waiting list<\/li>\n<li>Contact Susan Mills\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:smills@whoi.edu\">smills@whoi.edu<\/a>\u00a0 to request or return a bicycle<\/li>\n<li>In the event of a lost or stolen bicycle, please immediately call the police 774-255-4527 and email Susan Mills<\/li>\n<li>Information regarding &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.massrmv.com\/Portals\/30\/docs\/dmanual\/chapter_4.pdf\">The Rules of the Road<\/a>&#8221; can be found in Chapter 4 of the Massachusetts Driver&#8217;s Manual.\u00a0 Please familiarize yourself with road signage and proper conduct<\/li>\n<li>Laws pertaining to bicyclists can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.massbike.org\/laws\">here<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Each bicycle will possess a tag indicating it is the property of WHOI.
