Sidhartha M. D. + cooking demonstration<br \/>\n\u25cb kitchens in Clark and AVAST are not certified by the board of health, so we will not eat food prepared on site. Maybe can do potluck and\/or prepare food in advance (would need RSVP for headcount)<br \/>\n\u25cb Seb will enquire with Nathalie about conflicting events in WHOI calendar and about honorarium<br \/>\n\u25cb Kumara will have his book available for sale at event<br \/>\n\u25cb Advertisement:<br \/>\n\u25a0 Instagram: Fadime<br \/>\n\u25a0 Postering: Liz makes a flyer<br \/>\n\u25a0 Email list of department &#8211; Fadime<br \/>\n\u25a0 WHOI wide calendar and honorarium: Seb\n<strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Garden update<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u25cb So far in the meadow behind LOSOS: 4 fruit trees and a birch (moved last Fall from behind Clark bldg). Fruit trees are struggling.<br \/>\n\u25cb Budget shortage, need alternative way to get native trees\/shrubs (no pitch pines because they get borers). Seb can donate 2 Pawpaw trees, 1 Elderberry. Are there other folks who can donate trees or bushes (preferably native and resistant to drought) ?<br \/>\n\u25cb Trying to provide shade for people to meet outside in summer and promote biodiversity.<br \/>\n\u25cb Could use new area behind Redfield building as template for bench area.<br \/>\nTO DO: Seb makes a drawing draft and keeps in contact with Rick to look for more plants and trees. Then reach out through headlines for tree donations.\n<strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Van pool<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u25cb At least 2 employees have expressed interest in a van pool between Sandwich\/Mashpee and WHOI. Is there more interest and should we send a survey ? Are there experiences to build on ?<br \/>\n\u25cb Quote ( Links are on Sustainability website):<br \/>\n\u25a0 Got a quote back in 2017 with Enterprise: $1,100 (or 165$ per person) per month. 7 people max<br \/>\n\u25a0 Other local company: YesWeVan<br \/>\n\u25a0 Massride link also (with tax incentives)<br \/>\n\u25a0 Emergency Ride program reimburses some emergency rides.<br \/>\n\u25cb Sign up sheet for carpooling<br \/>\nTO DO: Make two google sheets one for van-pooling one for car pooling<br \/>\n\u25cf Name<br \/>\n\u25cf Email<br \/>\n\u25cf Route people are interested in<br \/>\n\u25cf Schedule (which days which times)<br \/>\n1. Seb: Once that van company things are settled Seb reaches out.\n<strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Logo<br \/>\n<\/strong>We are getting a new logo and slogan (&#8220;For people and planet&#8221;), see at bottom. Stickers available.<br \/>\n\u25cf Liz updates on website\n<strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Repair Caf\u00e9 &#8211; Move to Fall<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u25cb We need more people to organize; met some during the Activity Fair.\n<strong><br \/>\n\u25cf New business<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u25cb Summer interns: Megan Amstler has two interns<br \/>\n\u25a0 Reach out and details about what their projects are.
