{"id":157,"date":"2018-08-20T14:57:16","date_gmt":"2018-08-20T18:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.whoi.edu\/sustainability\/?page_id=157"},"modified":"2018-08-20T14:58:22","modified_gmt":"2018-08-20T18:58:22","slug":"june-18-2014","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.whoi.edu\/sustainability\/meetings-activities\/meeting-minutes\/june-18-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"June 18, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\n\t\tJune 18, 2014<br \/>\n\t<\/h1>\n<h3>STF Meeting Minutes<\/h3>\n<p>June 18, 2014<br \/>\nBigelow 217<\/p>\n<p><strong>In attendance:<\/strong>\u00a0Stephanie Madsen, Kallie Leschen-Lindell, Dave Derosier, Jonathan Murray, Dina Pandya, Ken Kostel, Ann Devenish, Valerie Caron<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lab surveys<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kallie has started surveying various labs and measuring energy consumption of equipment<\/li>\n<li>discussion of using a few labs as samples so that we can begin to quantify the potential savings<\/li>\n<li>identifying freezers and refrigerators around campus that can be emptied of old samples or consolidated and then providing tips for purchasing new energy efficient refrigerators<\/li>\n<li>the steps used in assessing labs could go onto STF site so that other labs can refer to them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Discussion of a Woods Hole Earth Day next year<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>contact CLC now to give months in advance notice about a potential event<\/li>\n<li>guidelines for replacing dehumidifiers, buying LED lights etc. at event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Electric Car Charging Station<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kallie will talk to Megan Amsler on Falmouth Energy Committee about whether the town is still able to pay for the stations<\/li>\n<li>potentially one in Clark lot, one in the village<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Atlas water filters<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Where on campus is it possible to make the switch based on price and willingness to do so?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Green Tips List<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kallie will start compiling a Green Tips list based on CLC tips or Harvard\u2019s sustainability program so that these can be available on the STF\u2019s webpage and WHOI Headlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prioritized Intern Task list<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Went through Intern Suggested Responsibilities and prioritized the tasks for Kallie to tackle.
