Kari visited WHOI two years ago but so much has changed since then so we need an update. STF should give brief intro about our Nitrile Glove recycling program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Action:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring nitrile glove recycling info \u2013 pdfs (SM)<\/li>\n<li>Make flyer for event (done)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>#2\u00a0 Switching from K-cup to Bunn Machines<\/strong>: New coffee machine available from WBMason (no charge) as long as you order the coffee pods from WBMason. We can post options on our STF website- alt coffee <a href=\"https:\/\/web.whoi.edu\/sustainability\/sustainable-coffee-switch-from-plastic-kcups-to-bunn-pods\/\">https:\/\/web.whoi.edu\/sustainability\/sustainable-coffee-switch-from-plastic-kcups-to-bunn-pods\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>#3 Solar Update \u2013 new offsite solar farm is up and running (an additional 1 MW)- new site is carport at North End Motors in Canton, MA<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Off-site solar arrays totaling 6 MW and over $321,000 in savings since Fall 2017<\/li>\n<li>Rooftop solar \u2013 potential new projects (debrief of Sept 20 meeting with Donor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Action:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update STF solar slide now that we have 6 MW (vs. 5 MW) of off-site solar- SM<\/li>\n<li>cal culate how much one solar panel costs (labor wrapped in) \u2013 potential way to ask for solar donations (SM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>#4 WSS Events <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Repair Caf\u00e9<\/strong> \u2013 Thursday, Oct 24 from 4:00-6:00 Losos High Bay. Check it out, it looks great! Should we add interpreter sign?
