Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program (OSNAP)
June 5 - 24, 2018
WHOI physical oceanographer Amy Bower spent three weeks aboard the Research Vessel Neil Armstrong checking her oceanographic instruments deployed during an OSNAP research cruise in 2014. Amy departed from Reykjavik June 5, 2018 and sailed through the waters east of Greenland pulling up the instruments, replacing batteries and then re-setting them. She blogged about her experiences on the OceanInsight website.

Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program (OSNAP)
July 4 - 30, 2014
WHOI physical oceanographer Amy Bower lead the first U.S. cruise to deploy instruments as part of OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program).

Irminger Rings in the Labrador Sea
September 19 - 28, 2007
Oceanographer Amy Bower traveled on board the R/V Knorr to the Labrador Sea to install a deep water mooring and technology to observe ocean currents. She posted about this research expedition on her blog, OceanInsight, which has special enhancements for the visually impaired.
