Falmouth STEM Boosters
BIG has partnered with the Falmouth STEM Boosters to connect scientists with local schools. You can sign up as a contact by contacting Deb Coulombe or signing up for their mailing list on the site. They're always looking for volunteers!
Science Fair Judging and Mentoring
The Falmouth Public School Science and Engineering Fair is often in need of judges and mentors for their science fairs, held in early spring. Sign up for our mailing list to be notified of these opportunities!
WHSTEP is a group focused on broadening the local connections between education, business, and science for the Falmouth/Mashpee/Bourne area. They offer grants for things that would otherwise be hard to accomplish for educational purposes (for example, buses to the WHOI facilities for a tour). They also have a useful listserv email that will tell you when there's an event you might want to help with! Sign up here.
